Google seems to be testing a new feature that will take you to AI Mode by default when you do a search in Chrome.

This change would continue with a series of updates in which Google is pushing its AI search as the default experience.

Fortunately, there are many excellent alternatives out there… no better time to switch.

To name a few: Browser -> Vivaldi, Firefox, Waterfox and Ecosia Search -> Ecosia, Ecosia, Kagi and DuckDuckGo
