    https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/kitchener-waterloo/cambridge-protest-call-for-mayor-resignation-pride-speech-interrupted-9.7227087

“Liggett is a bigot” is a brilliant protest sign.

About 100 protesters gathered at Lower Main St. in the Galt area of the city at 3 p.m. and have marched to Cambridge City Hall. […] Causarano-Bolton said Grand River Pride has been “really struggling” with their relationship with the city, citing its lack of transparency behind Cooper’s reprimand and sensitivity training.

[Mayor Bigot, sorry] Liggett told CBC News if she were to apologize that would be between herself and Mills.

Don’t threaten elected politicians with violence. What is wrong with you that you come here and do that? Americans, go home.

Have a tiny sliver of shame and fuck off. How dare you. You know damn well if you threatened to kill your local mayor on social media, you’d be in a world of hurt. Don’t think yourself immune. Use your brain cell and shut your stupid mouth, if not out of basic decency, then out of selfish self-preservation.

CBC News reached out to Liggett’s office and her office said the mayor “appreciates the opportunity to share what transpired and your understanding that she is not able to respond by the outlined deadline. A fulsome response is forthcoming. The mayor has been in council and corporate meetings for the past two days and is currently unable to respond.”

    Oh look, ain’t that convenient

If someone represses my right to exist freely, they are going to find out what it is like to have their right to exist repressed. This is the tolerance of intolerance problem, us Canadians need to redefine how intolerance is tolerated.

“How dare you not tolerate my intolerance? I’m a city councillor which means, unlike you, my opinions are protected and projected.” - Cooper, probably

Funny how its disrespectful to show people how their words and actions affect you.
