The cynic in me is wondering if the club saw how weak the bottom of the league is this season which removed their urgency to bring in a real Mitro replacement, or other big signings. I can’t see this Fulham team getting in a relegation battle this year. Definitely not satisfying as a fan to stagnate mid table though. But everyone was saying how weak the striker market was this summer, maybe we just continue to build a financial platform to make a big splash and push next season

My first thought is they think they’re gonna be safe. Don’t think Marco would do the Championship again if a club like Villarreal comes calling.
