A Psalm for the Wild Built is so cute though. Like so cute that it hurts in the context of current events. And I’m like two chapters in. Is it possible to tag this like on mastodon so I can just livetweet books I feel like livetweeting books should be more of a thing.

Yeah. All of Becky Chambers’ books are like that. Very warm, sweet sci-fi. No cruel people, no negativity. Just comfort and compassion. Her “Wayfarer” series (starting with “The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet”) is also worth reading.
Long way to a Small angry planet is an absolutely fantastic book.
Yeah, it’s not bad. Pretty sure it falls into the genre of “cozy” science fiction
