Honestly it’s incredible how well he has hit the ground running here. The MASSIVE price tag could easily weigh him down, not to mention the expectations of the fans. The fact he’s come in and been an immediate stand out player is a very good sign for the future. I think he’s already one of my favourite players in the squad.
that last paragraph is so true. and it happens with most expensive transfers too. just look at grealish, he’s been quality for City but he didn’t quite hit the ground running and there are quite a few people that look at him as a flop.
