    Honestly, I think that the answer simply comes down to unknowingness; lack of research. If anarcho-sectarians examined the evidence for democracy in the people’s republics then I think that many of them would become less hostile to state socialism. That is not to say that they would give up on anarchism, but many of them would realize that it wouldn’t be the end of the world if another people’s republic arose and they could adopt an anarcho-pacifist approach towards it instead of acting hostile.

    I have an essay saved from school.

    The topic they gave us was: Authority - Why it stifles human development. Which is kind of weird, why was the state funded education teaching me that the state is bad? Incredible.
