Could be true. People forget Zinchenko was the second choice signing for that position after Lisandro. Arteta wants a defender with midfielder like quality on the ball.
Although my feeling was that two might have played together, with Zinchenko used as an actual midfielder.
Agree. I love Zinny but I won’t be surprised if Timber or someone else we bring in becomes a long term replacement for him. Arteta definitely wants someone who can defend in that role.
tbh I don’t think Lisandro is as good on the ball as Zinchenko is
