Keeping the performances aside, I just realised we played 4 of the traditional top 6 in our 9 games so far. We are still unbeaten and tied on points with City on top. With key players returning, it’s time to go a winning run until Christmas.

And potential banana peel games at Palace and Everton, and plus we haven’t played the promoted teams.

Exactly, 21 points after 9 games having played City, United, Tottenham and Chelsea is actually pretty damn good. I agree that performances could have been better, but I have faith that the team will start to click more.

I get your point, but the league isn’t what it was a few years back.We are yet to play Brighton,Villa, and Newcastle who aren’t part of the traditional big 6,but more dangerous than a team like ManU at the moment. We also have to play Liverpool, the second most difficult fixture after City. Also the games against the Manchester clubs and Spurs were all at home.

I think a lot of folks including myself expected a much cleaner performance. I rewatched yesterday and it just screams bad day in the office. We looked kinda flat coming back from internationals, missed Partey, front 3 all working back to full fitness.
