I’ve been using Jellyfin for a few months, however I experienced some transcoding issues and switched to plex. After that I realised the transcoding issue was something wrong with my actual media but now I’m kind of in love with Plex and how user friendly it is (also the app looks good).

I’m considering getting the plex pass or the lifetime license (I need to use the app) but I’m still kind of not sure if it’s worth the investment. I’m mostly going to be the only one watching my media with the occasional relative watching it.

Could someone please give me some insight as to what would be better for my use case?
