Sure,I used to be against the “leftist infighting” between anarchists and “tankies”. Then I got a brutal lesson in why anarchists’ (fine I’m sure #notallanarchists ) refusal to engage in material analysis and penchant for thought-terminating shorthand slogans are so dangerous and make some of them supremely unreliable and untrustworthy, and now that I’ve seen how the structural flaws in their worldview lead some to be terrible people, I can’t take that tendency seriously anymore.
im never concerned about anarchists wanting to get rid of us as they would never be organized enough to carry out such actions.
Sounds very authoritarian to get rid of people who disagree with you, not very anarchist of them
Sounds very authoritarian
Being a former anarchist and knowing them anarchists, they will resort to semantically disputing your characterization. Example:
In a social revolution, the act of revolution is the overthrow of the power and authority of an oppressing and exploiting class by those subject to that oppression and exploitation. In other words, it is an act of liberation in which the hierarchical power of the few over the many is eliminated and replaced by the freedom of the many to control their own lives. It is hardly authoritarian to destroy authority!

Also, openly anti-anarchist leftists possess no authority at all in this imperial core (socdems aren’t leftists so they don’t count); therefore those anarchists’ plot to “get rid of” anti-anarchists constitutes no social revolution at all, but sectarian infighting which ultimately benefits the capitalist ruling class.
Yes it’s incredibly ironic the way they can justify their own use of violence against whoever they decide while also saying they are somehow different than anyone else who does it. Anarchist violence is always justified, which is what cops or colonizers also say about themselves
