Let me know if there are any mistakes, or if there’s something you want me to change
Atleti are going to kill us man, don’t even know if I can be arsed watching
If I’m not mistaken, these were Griezmann’s 162nd, 163rd, 164th goals. Only Adrián Escudero (169) and Luis Aragonés (172) are in front of him
Good game by Atlético. I really enjoy watching Griezmann play.
Still feel Celta are kinda unlucky. They aren’t really bad but still continue to lose.
I wonder how long it will take people to recognize we are a top 3 team in Europe.
Maybe when you win a game convincingly enough in Europe against a team that’s not in relegation zone in your domestic league
When we don’t shit the bed in Europe.
Hoping for a good run in the CL this season.
To be fair City shit the bed in Europe for years and people still considered them one of the best. Arsenal hasn’t even played CL in ages and people consider them a top team right now
Man I don’t think if people realize just how good Simeone is. I think it’s safe to say he’s been the best non-european coach for over a decade.
Celta are so strange this season, they look good in every game I have seen including against the big teams, but just can’t get results. They look good on the ball, Aspas is playing well even though he hasn’t scored for a while. Bamba, Strand Larsen and Douvikas are players with good characteristics and they have some nice midfielders
But if they keep losing then eventually you can’t cut Rafa any more slack. Still, I think they should give him more time because surely it will click eventually
Rafa has a 3 year contract and our owner is more focus on his cash and profits. I don’t see Rafa being fired even if we don’t get any points until Xmas.
PS Our midfield is a disaster, we play 5 at the back and two midgets in midfield. only reason we look good in midfield is because Aspas and Bamba drop back way more than they should. We sold too many good midfielders and we have a huge hole there now. Selling Gabri Veiga and Brias Méndez (and owner kicking out Denis Suárez, and Santi Mina being a rapist) all contributed to our current state of disaster.
We can’t win games with only 3 or 4 quality players (Aspas, Bamba, Starfelt, maybe include Larsen), the rest are making up the squad and getting their wages. For 5 years, our owner focused his efforts on building a training ground and academy, while ignoring our spiral into terrible football.
