I like AI because of my leftist politics but as long as you don’t hate minorities or the poor or plan to constantly beef with anarchists, leftists and progressives from a conservative perspective in general I’d have no issue with you.
4)Image-gen AI allows working class masses who can’t spec into drawing or any other skills that don’t guarantee jobs to infringe copyright en-masse with art.
Okay I see. However I would counter that the environmental, social, socioeconomic, and other side effects of AI are more than enough to offset the good done by the image generating parts of AI. Not that I think your argument is invalid, just not really worth it to me. And I most definitely do not think supporting AI is an inherently leftist viewpoint.
Sure, I agree, corpo AIs are awful, but it’s not the tech, it’s who has it that’s the issue. I’m not simping for altrightman and his gippity, I’m only for open source locally run AI models like StableDiffusion or Mistral7B.
As long as you don’t have a fundamental problem with the tech because it erodes the human spirit of creativity or some dumb shit then we’re in agreement.
I upvoted that comment, but I’m right there with you in wanting it spelled out by that particular user. Personally, I see AI as the beginnings of a future generation of person, and I despise Copyright profiteering by middle-men.
Doesn’t mean I’m okay with all of the resources getting wasted on it, the damage to the environment, or those people going un-paid for their existing body of work, nor those who will be unable to make a living through creative works in the future, because of AI.

What does this even mean?
1)Copyright is mafia protection for corpos
2)Corpos bad
3)Copyright infringement good

5)Image-gen AI good.
