I have an Android tablet that I’d like to use as an automated media server while still being able to use it for other purposes as a typical Android tablet. Thus, I don’t want to install a different OS. I’m motivated by not wanting to pay for a Raspberry Pi given I already have a device that I think should be more than capable spec-wise.

I was able to install Emby Server on the tablet and was able to manually download TV shows and movies using a torrent client, Flud, and a usenet client, Usenet Panda. All of these apps run natively on Android. However, I’d like to automate the downloading of content as I hear people do with tools like Sonarr and Radarr. However, I couldn’t find a way to run docker images or set up Sonarr, Radarr, or an alternative app on Android. The furthest I got was installing Transmission and nzbget via Termux, and failing to install all packages needed for flexget.

Is there a way to get Sonarr, Radarr, Flexget, or an alternative app on Android (without flashing a new OS)? Any links or pointers are much appreciated. Thanks!
