Progressive passing yards = Not passing behind him but in front of him. (would be a hell of a thing for the last man back to pass behind him! He’s the only one on the pitch that will never pass behind himself. This is a useless statistic.)
Long passes completed = the keeper long ball. (Literally means nothing again.)
Passes into the final third = the keeper long ball. (Practically the same statistic as the previous one. If he’s kicking long balls, they are going into the final third.
I’m more interested in other stats, such as how many saves are made from shots outside the box. That’s a meaningful statistic. And if you look at stats like those, Ramsdale has Raya beat.
