Sadly I could not find a way to take a photo that shows just how glorious these dice look in actual use. (I’m not exactly a professional photographer.) These are a set of gaming dice cut from dichroic prisms. This makes them sparkle in unusual ways and colours that makes them unique of all the dice I own. They’re instant eye-grabbers on the table.
Those are GORGEOUS. I’m usually not too picky about my dice, but those are just so pretty in such a clean, elegant way. May I ask where you got them?
I bought them off of Taobao (like … pretty much everything I’ve bought in the past decade or so 🙃). You can probably find them on AliExpress as well, I would guess.
I have a set of these from I think wyrm wood. They are unreasonably expensive and I never would buy glass dice for that price, but it was a birthday gift.
I did manage to almost replicate it by putting dichroic window film on a set of blanks and then putting clear over that. They are not as nice but they are some of the best dice I’ve made.
$125 ain’t unreasonable for custom crafted stuff like this.
That’s fair. I should have said unreasonable for me. It’s just more than I would ever or have ever spent on dice myself. I love these dice and I’m super glad I got them. They were a gift because she knew that I would never spend that much on dice.
