I kind of want to buy a knock off best buy uniform so i can talk to people about linux.
I learned to never wear an orange t-shirt in a home depot if you’re hoping to quietly browse for a while.
I will never understand why people always ask me questions like I work at whatever store I’m in. I always dress casual, and I’m usually walking with my wife, and yet people will still ask me where to find this item or that. Maybe it’s just because live where I do and never wear jeans.
I learned that lesson at target when I wore a red shirt. Its shitty that you have to coordinate your outfit based on the store you are gonna visit.
Wore a red shirt and khaki cargo pants to work one day, got so much shit for it that when I see the red shirt I make sure I’m not wearing anything close. It’s the only time I pay attention to color combos.
Same with blue ones at Best Buy.
Except I haven’t been in a Best Buy for at least a decade.
