    It’s not just “coached” but also recognized and given the chance to do so.

    If coaching had no effect on football ability, then China should be a powerhouse today. The country loves football, the government pushes for football, but their coaching and infrastructure is not there.

    Even at the top level you see elite coaches can truly impact ‘footballing ability’. It was only a few years ago Joelinton and Xhakas were “donkeys” but last season they were undroppable thanks to the coaching of the team.
