    Of the people I know who don’t like beer, they’re almost all sweet tooth’s. So if you prefer a sweeter taste on the palate then it makes sense that beer isn’t your thing. Even the blandest of lagers is inherently bitter. I don’t necessarily think it’s an acquired taste, I think it’s an acquired taste for people who already like that flavour profile.

    The first time I tasted beer, I was alone having dinner at a restaurant. I was over 30. There were no peers pressing me. I live in a valley full of Mormons.

    Some beers I like a lot, some I don’t. I didn’t have to acquire the taste. So sue me.

    You need to try better beers, there is a ton of variety and flavours, and not everyone is going to enjoy all of them. I don’t like IPAs, but I love a good Wheat beer.

    Meh. I used to say the same thing about kale, tomatoes, etc. some stuff grows on you. Beer still tastes bad.
