Bill Gates now says Global Warming isn’t important. because that would get in the way of him making money through AI if people thought it was a problem.

Whether global warming is real or not, or important or not, all seems to hinge on whether or not billionaires can make more money or less, depending on people’s perception.

So if their opinion is disingenuous now, then was it disingenuous then? What profit did they stand to make if people were worried about global warming?
