    IIRC, Vikingo appeared on AEW as part of a partnership with AAA, but AAA and CMLL refused to play nice together on AEW tv. So AEW eventually started to favor featuring CMLL talent over AAA talent on their programming.

    Someone feel free to correct me if I’m wrong or missed something, I’m going purely from memory.

      For the most part yeah, tho AAA still does get featured (Komander for example is a AAA guy and his last AAA match was just 2mo ago at Triplemania).

      As for specifically why Vikingo hasn’t been around lately tho: injury. Back in Feb, needed knee surgery. Had been out since and just had his first match back since the injury 3 weeks ago (AAA, 2 JP shows and a US one) so he’ll probably be back in AEW/ROH sooner or later.
