I’ve been hosting weekly movie nights for about a month at a time this year and I’m trying to decide which batch of movies I would like to highlight this go around. I haven’t focused on directors yet and I think that going with a sample of a body of work would be fun. What are some recommendations you have on which directors to highlight?

So far I’ve thought of:

Richard Linklater: the Before Trilogy

Wong Kar-wai: Chungking express, ITMFL, Fallen Angels

Sofia Coppola: Marie Antoinette, The Virgin Suicides, Lost in Translation

Thanks!
