Original Title: Watched Oppenheimer again and the thing that sticks out to me with this movie, and Nolan did this brilliantly with Dunkirk, is that the pacing is absolutely flawless. It’s a period movie based off of science and you never feel bored or check your watch.

With Oppenheimer the pacing and the script is so good and the direction is so tight you don’t like you’ve watched a 3 hour movie. Nolan has this talent with his movies, I would say he developed after interstellar, where he finds the right rhymthms where he can make these intricate 2 hours 30 to 3 hour movies wildly entertaining accross multiple genres. I genuinely believe the academy got the best editing oscar and best screenplay oscar right.
