This is what i mean when i say that different people interpret the same words differently. Take the word “freedom” as an example.
To some people, “freedom” means freedom to do what they want as long as it doesn’t harm other people. that’s liberalism.
To others, “freedom” means to be able to be economically successful. The consequences are that economic growth (of any form) are considered more important than not harming other people. And that’s what you hear Bondi formulate in her speech: “Yes, he did abuse children, but the economy is doing great. So it’s ok.”

I didn’t look too much into it but I really hope that south korean guy actually had dogshit values and supported terrible things and they actually didn’t purge him for not bootlicking corporations and the giving the “life need to be harder because fuck you” type people everything they want. Because that’s usually why former heads of state get purged. Just saying.
You should look into it then, his actions will make it obvious that he is getting exactly what he deserves.
