The Republicans and former Republicans who gathered in suburban Washington this weekend are warning that President Donald Trump and his allies in Congress are tearing at the very fabric of U.S. democracy.

“Our nation’s institutions have been shaken. Our alliances have been strained. Our credibility has been damaged. And our nation’s values have been cast aside,” Hertling said. He suggested the U.S. should look to the reconstruction of Germany after the defeat of Nazism if it hoped to to restore the damage caused by Trump and his allies.

    Really don’t fucking want to hear it after Republicans have been working their asses off to get us to this point for the past 30+ years. Republicans can fuck ALL the way off. The Overton window in the US was already stupid 30 years ago and it’s just gotten worse. “Centrists” are either politically ignorant of what they actually support, or are essentially fascists who want to fuck liberal women.

    Sure, they want to disassociate themselves from the fascists? I’m not even sure I believe them, but why now and not 15-20-25+ years ago? No, you fuckheads wanted to play the games and ride the coattails of fascism to power. So you can fuck off.
