This is why defeatist attitudes do nothing but help those in power.

Here we are, years later, and there are still consequences happening to these people.

Yes, it’s years late. Yes, it’s not nearly enough.

But it IS progress. There is always more time for things to change. Don’t give up on pursuing those that deserve more.
