Well, back to my commonly asked question ig.

Is there a reliable instance I can join? Oddballs went down, then Tummy, and now Eepy is going down.

While I do like lemmy, I just personally don’t vibe with the reddit style and I prefer social media like fedi.

I don’t know which ones aren’t likely to go down, since it seems like every instance goes down.

I don’t like NNIA, as the owner of it can’t think in nuance and needs to make everything about discourse, which I want to avoid. I also can’t be NSFW on there, so that’s even worse.

I haven’t gotten a response from anyone on Rape.Pet, ans tbh I don’t expect too, since it seems pretty secluded.

I don’t know anything about cottoncandy.cafe, and it seems to be closed to registration.

I like Capyborea.space, but… Some of the content posted there does make me a bit wary (I’m a paranoid individual)…

Filly.love seems to be MLP oriented, but idk how reliable it is…

Is there any space that’s really safe anymore?? Or do I have to run the risk of just… losing a safe space? Is it even worth it at this point to stay on Fedi???

Relatable wanting safer space that appeals to communication style. I don’t have recs but I wanted to say you aren’t alone.

since domain names being seizable is a problem we have yet to overcome, we’re gonna have this problem for a while. stay strong and don’t give the antis what they want, which is for us to disconnect from one another and live in silence and shame

It’s just so hard to keep going with this… I get exhausted very easily with my CFS and constantly trying to rebuild things is very, very tiring. The worst part is that we may have to go to Onion domains just to be some semblance of safe, but that looks so suspicious half the time due to the stigma around the deep web (even though there are deep web forums that have no criminal activity). Rebuilding profiles and friend groups (if your friends move over) is difficult

Also we’re not on rape.pet but we’re on a related thing and we may be able to follow you since we’ve followed other rape.pet users. And we’d be interested in that!

I went to mapsupport.de because it seems likely to be around for a while, but that’s mainly because its rules are fairly restrictive. It’s not like nnia, but it still may not be to your liking. There’s also Little Lounge; it doesn’t even have a domain name to lose, so it should be pretty secure. I don’t know if all the federation issues have been worked out, though.

I don’t trust Mapsupport.De if they’re willing to host someone who is openly trying to dox people, as well as someone who is in cahoots with two MAPs that are all for doxing MAPs they don’t agree with, and have a way to obtain addresses to said people.

Being entirely honest, and nothing against the owner there, but some of the things shared on cutiegarden make me really nervous. As subjective as the Dost Test is, a lot of content on there is very risky.

It might be good if you don’t live in the USA, but sadly, I do.

Yeah I do worry about the opsec of many users on those Mastodon boards… Seems like if you really want that kind of content then you need to be on TOR or i2p

Yeah. I use TOR, but I’m just too paranoid about that shit. Some of them are a little too… Risky, y’know, won’t pass the dost test. Like again, nothing against the owner, I don’t think she lives in the USA, but… It’s not worth the risk to me.
