Helloo! So I’m in the market for a new phone and after doing some research, I’m very torn between Samsung’s A54 and the S23. If it makes any difference, I’m moving from the Google Pixel. I’ve been pretty dissatisfied with the camera, photo processing, and performance.
I use editing apps and will be using the main and front camera a lot – this will be the majority of my usage along with social media. I also play mobile games casually but nothing high-end like Genshin Impact – think Subway Surfer, dress up games, and visual novels.
I love the longer battery life and option for microSD on the A54. But is the S23 the better option for the quality of photos and support options? It seems like there isn’t a lot of hype or support for the A54 in the west. Phone case options are very limited for example, so I’d have to make my own to have one that I really want. The S23 is also optimized for Instagram, which seems like the smarter choice for someone who uses it as a platform.
But the experience seems to be mostly the same otherwise…with a huge price difference. From my understanding, I’ll have the same amount of security updates and longevity for half the price.
Thoughts?
