In domestic violence cases, police are more likely to make arrests when #pets are abused, too. We know there is a link between animal cruelty and interpersonal violence. So shouldn’t there be stronger established partnerships between police and animal cruelty first responders?

Just as police may discover animal cruelty when responding to intimate partner violence, humane law enforcement may uncover evidence of intimate partner violence.
