To all the parents and children who lost each other, their loved ones being a “martyr” offers condolences in shitty times if war because it means instant entry to heaven in Islam. Culturally the term is applied even to non Muslims, especially when butchered needlessly by Israel. It’s not like a death cult, it just means “killed unjustly” and literally translated to “Witness”.
