I figured I’d launch this new sub with the announcement of its existence.
good to have you! Hopefully this can be helpful for those who need something like it. I have no idea how good/well prepared lemmy as software is for accessibility, but at least its not actively hostile that i’m aware of.

I don’t see how to DM people, though, so I’ll mention this here: Captchas tend to be pretty inaccessible to the blind and low vision. I’ve received emails from people who couldn’t get past the one on this server.
While not perfect, I’ve had a a better experience with Cloudflare Turnstile, so I request that you check whether you could implement that on this server instead of the existing one.

the captcha’s are built in to the lemmy software, unfortunately, they can’t be replaced with something else without modification to the UI repository.
