If anyone who actually cares about reality sees this post before it’s removed, please screenshot it because I assume it won’t last long. I probably shouldn’t even be wasting my time on some piefed mod drama when nostr is right over there with no bans.

I want to address what’s wrong with the wording in these “reasons” for banning me.

Overly hostile - clearly not the reason for banning me when the people I was replying to are clearly much more hostile than me, and not banned. My hostility is based in self defense and defense of others, that can’t be “overly hostile” while eugenical mass murderers celebrating their acts of harm are below the hostility threshold.

Fixable? - Yes. If you corrected it from “overly hostile” to “explicitly hostile” this would be saying the ban is based on me directly making hostile statements while the people I replied to only overwhelmingly implied they support mass murder without explicitly saying anything hostile.

Spam - The term “spam” has slowly transformed from “typing/sending nothing but ads” to “typing/sending a lot,” but again, how were the people I was replying to not over the threshold if I was? I think I’ve posted about 2 comics ever, they seem to post comics every day. I didn’t comment on the COVID denialism issue when the series I was commenting on posted the first comic about it yesterday, I only did when they posted a second comic about the same topic today, so that’s me having 1 comment in 2 threads. And then I replied to someone that replied to me. So if I spammed by posting a few comics in the past few weeks, how did they not spam by posting comics every day? Or if my spam was posting one comment in two threads in a topic across two days, how did they not spam by posting both of the two threads, and how can anyone post anything ever without spamming with a threshold of 1 reported post when you can’t just post half a time? Or if my spam was replying to someone that replied to me, how are they not spamming by replying to me as well?

Fixable? - No, I don’t see any honest meaning behind this that could be fit with a rephrase, it just seems like a pure blatant lie.

Clearly both of these are trying to accuse me of crossing a threshold in a metric I didn’t take as far as the unbanned people I was outnumbered by. “Overly hostile” when I’m the one defending immune compromised people against Nazism, and “spam” when it’s 1 comment from me (advertising nothing) across 2 of almost the same science denialist comic (advertising a commercial event) by them.

Perfect example of how censorship and doublespeak go hand in hand - yet another place on the internet that supposedly has rules against “hostility,” but actually punishes people for standing up to Nazis, without punishing the Nazis.

Not trying to strawman here, just trying to follow your logic in the context of that comic that sparked all this… so… anyone going to a con is a nazi mass murderer?
