It’s big in San Diego, where it originated. Fries topped with carne asada (marinated, thin, chargrilled steak), cotija cheese, guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo (optional), shredded Mexican blend cheese, and vinegar-based hot sauce (added by eater at tune of eating so not to make soggy). Also best to keep the door cream separate from the guacamole too but get soggy. Solid late night drunken meal. I went through a good run of the drinks/fries combo when first moved here.

I like them with Mexican crema instead of sour cream, but either way they’re fucking delicious!
