What is the Harris economic plan? Nobody knows. How will she “help the middle class”? Nobody knows. You can disagree with Trump and say he has a flawed plan but at least he has a plan.

What’s Trump’s economic plan? Less taxes for the rich and let the oil companies drill everywhere. Harris-Walz is going to be the opposite of that.

I think he specifically said to eliminate all income tax and raise the revenues with tarrifs, which gets every American with two brains cells on economics to think “uh yeah… that makes sense” but every economist to scream “oh God no!”. I think every economist who has commented has gone hard against him in that.

Tariffs instead of tax makes sense?! Consumers pay tariffs in increased prices. This is the most inflationary shit imaginable and would be the biggest transfer of taxation from rich to middle class and poor in the history of the USA. This is a billionaire’s wet dream. No wonder Musk has the hots for Diaper Don all of a sudden. Wow.

They make sense to people who don’t think. They stop thinking when you say “it will encourage our own production” and never start thinking again. As I said every economist is horrified, but if you stop thinking when you start thinking it’s a clever way to protect your own manufacturing, it seems to you (a fool if you think that way) clever. There are not a lot of things more dangerous than a fool who believes he’s clever.

Trump’s plan is fascism. No rational person needs to know more than that.

I don’t give a fuck if he’s going to make the trains run on time.

be trump, president when a massive pandemic was starting

cut taxes for the insanely rich, butcher most government functions and reduce government investment into the economy

have the worst possible pandemic response possible

blame the next president when the corporate bubble made by your hard-to-reverse policies bursts and tanks the economy

take credit for the economic boom caused by previous president’s 8 years of outstanding economics which you completely tore down

          profit(…?)

The policies of Obama + Biden dug us out of the recession that Republicans and “free-market” (tax cuts for the rich) advocates threw us in as a sacrifice, and gave Americans a break from shitty conservanomics. But people like you can’t possibly realize that economic policies have long-term consequences, and that conservative economic policies in particular end up exploding in our face after a few years. The economy is too complicated for you to understand I guess, your understanding doesn’t go past “tax = bad”.

I love how people are still playing the fiscal conservative card as an excuse to support this shit, what was the last thing Republicans did for the middle class financially?

The Republican economic plan is gonna be shut down everything and privatize it for kickbacks, the model that costs the middle class the most, on top of the fascism. Republicans can go fuck themselves.

Dismantle the EPA and give big oil whatever they want for as long as they keep current on the bribes.

Whatever it is, I know it’ll never be progressive enough for me, just further perpetuation of the neoliberal world order. But who tf cares we are trying to avoid literal fascism here.

Convicted Felon and Sex Offender Treason Trump’s plan is Project 2025. It’s not a good thing he has that plan its a very very bad thing.

      https://www.cbsnews.com/news/kamala-harris-economic-plan-presidential-candidate/

Harris is expected to announce that she will make tackling inflation a “Day One” priority, as well as outline a plan to lower costs for middle class families, take on corporate-price gouging and an overall focus on lowering costs for Americans, according to details shared by Harris-Walz campaign officials. “When I am president, we will continue our fight for working families including to raise the minimum wage and eliminate taxes on tips for service and hospitality workers,” Harris said while speaking to rally attendees that included Nevada Culinary union members. “When I am president, I will continue that work to bring down prices,” Harris said at a campaign rally in Glendale, Arizona, on Friday. "I will take on big corporations that engage in illegal price gouging. I will take on corporate landlords that unfairly raise rents on working families. I will take on Big Pharma and cap the cost of prescription drugs for all Americans. Harris promised the over 15,000 attendees adding, “unlike Donald Trump, I will always put the middle class and working families first.”
