If you have no Stingose or hydrocortisone you could try to run water as hot as you can comfortably stand over the bites so the heat deactivates the thing causing the reaction? (Be careful not to scald yourself.)
Edit: Probably not safe. Baking powder paste might still irritate your skin but less chance of a burn.
Another option is aluminium antiperspirant (like from a roll on) which is a lot weaker than the aluminium in Stingose but might help somewhat.
Also if you can’t resist scratching, try instead lightly slapping the bites or around them (old advice for tattoos). It creates a distracting sensation without the damaging friction on compromised skin.

I used a very very hot compress to denature the toxin and relieve the itching, it’s feeling a lot better
( I just saw you recommended that already, it works well but I wouldn’t do it on anyone else )
