Lmfao, PiS is nuts. Btw, as a polish comrade, what is your take on Katyn? Do you agree with historians like Grover Furr that it was nazis who did it, not soviets? Or do you think soviets did it?
The information control in Poland about Katyń is so strong, that even ML’s here often believe in the nazi lies, not to mention other lefty bunch like trots or anarchists. Nearly everyone here believe it, it’s literal dogma on which anticommunism and russophobia is based (btw. apparently 20000 victims of Katyń is unforgivable, while 60000 victims of Volhynia and 6000000 victims of nazis are already forgiven).
Even when you actually search for it, the only thing available in polish is the utter condemnation of Furr as conspiracy theorist, commie agent and tinfoil nutjob. Up to few years ago i believed that too (literally no sources available, nothing), but guys at chapo pointed me to some more concrete writings in english. I read those and i was stunned, so many proofs for the german fault and the only proof for official version was a forgery. So overall, it was nazi plot to slander USSR, which were then used by the revisionists against Marxism-Leninism, and by imperialists and compradors against socialism.
Wow, that must have been crazy, changing your whole worldview like that. I have not read Furrs book on Katyn yet, tho i have read his chapter on Katyn in “Blood Lies”, so i do have a general idea of the evidence on Katyn. I agree, nazis did it most likely.
