Changes since 2.0-beta2:
fix update breaking toolbar keys (does not fix it if you used beta2, you will have to restore your toolbar manually or import settings from before beta2)

Yeah there are a few choices, but none of those are qwertz with dedicated öäü, which the usual German keyboards have. The only one that comes close is the american layout. That one has the buttons but they are assigned to [ ] etc
Don’t know but there are several German layouts.
Just be aware that swiping / glide typing works fine but need an eextra file to be imported.
But after trying out all the open alternatives I did settle on this one, so I strongly recommend it.
