I knew that Cuba has gotten somewhat progressive in recent times, but was completely unaware of these issues. I guess there are conservative people with sticks in their asses everywhere

It’s better than most, but conversion therapy is not banned, and non-binary individuals are not legally recognised, so still not equal.
