As I wrote, there’s no point cancelling his work. I just want to stop hearing about his stupid cat once and for all. I don’t need it to get an understanding Quantum Physics. In fact, the whole thing is even more confusing for people with no background in the field.

I wish the fact that the USA immediately started hiring Nazis and giving them places of honour and comfort immediately after WWII was big in pop culture. Awareness was the only reason for that comment btw, not trying to make a statement about honouring bad people who made a famous contribution to science or that all scientists have skeletons in their closets. I just think everyone should be aware that some scientists went from helping the Nazis kill scores of UK civilians to living comfortable upper middle class lives in the US.

No need to even bring it to people’s attention. The guy is known among normies for a maybe virtual cat at best and not much else. That’s his contribution and importance to humanity and general audiences won’t need to recall anything else. The S. Cat experiment has always been a pun. It argues that the cat is in superposition of state, which is absurd. That was a bad dad joke from the very beginning.
