I’m Indigenous Canadian and the morals and life lessons I learned from my parents and Elders is that … this life is temporary and it is the same for everyone else, no matter who they are, where they come from, how intelligent or wealthy they are … we were born from the earth and in the end, we all return to the earth.

I am tribal myself and identify with my ethnic group but at the same time, I was taught that every human is a human is a human. We all bleed, we all break, we all cry, we all get cold, we get hot, we eat and we take a shit … all of us are the same no matter who you say you are or what you want to believe.
