PA lot of Lemmygradians can give you a thorough, academic answer. As I dont have the time right now, lemme give you a couple notes.
First, Marxism sees things as dynamic and changing. Lumpens are the Maga fascists from working class neighborhoods which you see in ICE for instance. Especially the blacks and latinos working there. Initially, you wanna empathize bc you know theyre there for the money, but you cant because they wanna execute us. Being naive is the worst in politics, nobody respects you.
But I said Marxism sees thing dynamically. Magas can and will change their points of view as Trump tanks. Not all are fash, most are anti establishment disgruntled workers. Thats the time to win them to our cause. So a Lumpen may be a lumpen today but they may stop being lumpen tomorrow. “Is” does not mean forever, it means “is right now”. There is no ontological determinism in philosophical parlance.
Secondly, this is not the canonical answer, but I believe in bringing philosophy to the present time. This is why I speak of Magas. In Marxs time they were the ppl who supported Louis Napoleon, the Trump from back then.
Finally, we can forgive many things. We forgave Puyi, the last Chinese emperor. But first the lumpenfash will pay for their crimes. We can be merciful but we must be just as well.

Hello. I never, ever, have advocated for that. Please don’t say that. You’re being hurtful over a misunderstanding. I will take a few more days off Lemmygrad to reflect.
