Meh, it’s actually a good idea to let yourself be bored
Yeah but it feels unbearable with ADHD, unfortunately
Can confirm. Especially when you also have social anxiety and are around people.
I have both ADHD and extreme social anxiety. It feels unbearable to seperate from my devices as well, but the advantages of deliberately bearing the stress for minutes is worth it if you can latch on to something in the real world instead of in your phone/laptop/game.
Just keep a book handy, it’s the socially sanctioned form of isolation! You don’t even have to read it if you’re only looking for time to yourself. At first, yeah. But do it enough, it’s still good for you. Gets the creative juices flowing.
It is better for your eyes and your mind actually
Is this supposed to be a meme or advice?
It’s really good advice.
This is the way.
It really is better for you.
