Americans: “Only 40%? Those are rookie numbers…”
Well, as long as our robot overlords agree, who am I to argue.
If I’m remembering right, that 20-30% is a match for past survey results where ordinary people were asked what they thought the distribution actually was, not what they thought it should be. I hope it’s not anybody’s “guideline,” lol.

I should clarify I’m pretty sure they were asked what it should be and it was definitely more egalitarian than what they thought it actually was.
For those who don’t feel like reading an article it is about India.
It’s about 30% of all wealth controlled by the 1% in America but it’s 67% of all wealth controlled by the top 10%
The bottom 50% control 2.5% of the wealth
All my math was done personally using statistics from the fed
And I got asked in Reddit “what is wrong with billionaires?” then they don’t like to be called NPCs.
