A nice color spread to start the chapter!

This was a pretty good chapter. First, we get to see our friendly neighborhood Medusa, Hebizono, so that is a huge plus. Next, we meet a whole new batch of Genjin. My favorite moment of this chapter was the kraken getting stuck in the net. Finally, we get a challenge leveled at Tsumiki from some other Genjin.

Also, I just want to thank the translators for the extensive notes at the end. I was able to pick up some of that based on the romanized names (ogami/ookami, hebi/snake), but the way that the names were constructed using non-standard kanji readings was interesting. The many different readings of kanji really unlock a whole additional level of pun-making that just isn’t possible in other languages.
