Nexus Mods tells PCGamesN that it is uncomfortable with Palworld Pokemon mods on the platform for fear of a Nintendo copyright claim.

    I got flooded with ads calling it “Pokemon with guns” for the week or so leading up to launch. I think it was their own fault, lol

      Yep. The only reason we haven’t seen anything yet is that Nintendo is building a superdocument detailing how each Pal is a clone of some specific Pokemon.

      (Whether the claims are founded or not… There are enough Pokemon at this point that you can say any cartoony animal is a “clone” of some Pokemon)

    Can’t blame them for being nervous. Also can’t wait for Pokemon to get sued by Bandai, the makers of Digimon or Square Enix who made Dragon Warrior Monsters. 🤣
