So this is kind of a dumb story, but my house is “protected” by a Guinea Pig named Scotch.

This mfer will squeal from 4 rooms over if he hears the slightest sound of any door, including the fridge opening. He will SQUEAL until he gets a carrot or piece of a seed bar if any one of us wants to sneak a midnight snack.

He’s alerted us to family members joining us unannounced. I hate to think what he’d do with a stranger.

In Peru they’re called ‘quee’ which is a great name.
