I resigned, boss seems to be in denial thinking I’ll stay for a crappy pay rise, HR isn’t replying or acknowledging it.

    Could be worse though.

New job lined up Ready to go. Hours will probably be worse, on-call with suck, flexibility of hours will probably be worse.

But I should learn a lot more and improve my skills, currently, I’m stagnant and not doing anything useful. Looking forward to a change, even if I am nervous

Melting and grumpy about it. I prefer winter and like it icy and cold.

Only 4 weeks left on current contract and then some time off to do fucking nothing.

Where are you where it’s so hot? It’s been pretty cool up here in the north west.

The sound of doing absolutely nothing sounds bliss!

Worcester mate. Home of the sauce and disappointing train rides into Birmingham.

West of here Hereford direction and into Wales is a lot nicer temp. wise.

It was fine, very unremarkable. Really struggling to think of anything of note that happened!

Watched the F1 live on Sunday as I cooked a curry which was nice, I never watch it live these days as it’s impossible with the kids, and I no longer have a way to watch it live (channel 4 broadcast the British GP live).

I bought access to the stream of the Black Sabbath’s Back to the Beginning concert, hooked it to my audio system, cranked volume to 11, and opened a cold beer (well, a good few). That was an amazing concert!

It was nice that they had Bill Ward on drums and played their last ever live performance with the original lineup.

Feeling like I’ve just realised I don’t enjoy living or being with my partner anymore and kinda just wanna leave but I’ve never done that before and it’s scary. Not feeling too great to be honest.
