Since 0.19, the federation does not work correctly anymore, and requires regular restart of the Lemmy process (as far as I understand). Just in case you also noticed that it became a bit more empty in here.
On that note, maybe we can postpone future lemmy updates until the most major issues are ironed out? Then we would not suffer so much from these issues in the future :)
Otherwise, thank you a lot for running sopuli, it is a pleasure to be here!

That can be done! At one point I waited for a longer time to upgrade Sopuli because new releases used to introduce so many problems. Then things started to get smoother with minor issues at best and that motivated me to upgrade to a newer release as soon as it came out. Looks like I need to be more careful now.
Any news on this? I’ve noticed a lot of my latest comments sitting at 1 upvote, checked the original instance and apparently they’re not federating!
Things are happening slowly. It’s Christmas.
So that’s why I wasn’t getting any notifications anymore. Just wondering, does this only affect posts and comments or also upvotes etc?
I am not a technology-person, could someone explain this? Are we essentially defederated from the rest of Lemmy? I recently made three meme posts on two popular meme communities and no one saw them.
Well yeah something like this. But if your server has updated to 0.19.1, then it’s fine again.
