A sketch exploring a story idea for a prehistoric sci-fi that I don’t think I’ll be developing any further, at least anytime soon. Did a value pass to practice value structure though.

No, this was done only in Procreate, but I do have some brush packs that mimic real-life medium textures pretty well, so I can see why one would think that. :)
But yes - the value structure comment is checking it in black and white to make sure things contrast against each other well.
