    DC is pretty awesome sometimes. Making Santa an Op demi god was a nice touch.

      Marvel did the same. If I recall, he’s classified as a mutant and is practically in a power level all to himself.

        Dresden Files books do something similar, only with magic/fairies/Old Gods instead of mutants. When it’s not Christmas, Santa’s just a bitter old demigod who participates in the Wild Hunt for fun and attends parties of the Unseelie/Winter Fae

          The figure of Santa originated from Odin. To make the figure a demi god it makes it a demotion.

            Now that I’m recalling the books, he is revealed to be Odin at a later point. Or, at least, nobody saw him and Odin in the same room

              Legally they’re two separate entities, cause as Odin Mab would have to wait at his pleasure but as Kringle she outranks him.
