Domestic poultry are so dumb. That’s one of the reasons I love my ducks so.

I did have a wild Mallard for two years before she flew away. She was really, really smart compared to the others. I’d even let her stay out at night if she wanted.

She eventually left, but I was so happy when she came back and brought her boyfriend.

She hung around with her friends for a day or so while her bf was having none of it.
